We have been going there for many years for fried potatoes, rustic and delicious.

Always good! Rustic (which I love). The best fried potatoes far and wide! Very nice staff. Small but perfectly adequate card. For everyone who is in the mood for good home-style food (e.g. roast beef with delicious tartar sauce, matjes with housewife-style sauce, sour meat, farmer's breakfast, etc.) Very filling portions :-)

You can't call it a restaurant or a pub. What we were able to experience (!!): Small cakes were delivered on trays for an event, which were taken out of a trunk (!!) without cover, foil, etc.! I think that even if we didn't have a big problem with Corona, that would be an absolute no-go for hygiene reasons!

Incredibly disappointing and even a little horrified: Opening times on the website do not coincide with the times indicated on the "map" - ok, it can happen. The "card" is (probably due to the coronavirus) 1 sheet of paper - made very carelessly. Drinks are not on the sheet. But what it says is: 3 scrambled eggs with bacon and fried potatoes for 12.20 euros -?!? The door of the kitchen (it was closed on request) was unfortunately open and you could understand every word. What the boss does, who he makes coffee for and whether someone "wants another beer" - cheers to the kitchen! Plus conversations about guests ... embarrassing, embarrassing! The food was okay, but we couldn't speak of "warm food" in the offer. The menu includes "Pickled", "Aspic", Kassler (cold slices), and roast beef. Our conclusion: never again!

Friendly service but the farmer's breakfast was the worst ever. No trace of the egg. 98 percent only fried potatoes. Sad. What does an egg cost?

Hearty home cooking Card quite limited (farmers breakfast, fried potatoes) We were close to the super batch, you can walk straight across the street through a piece of green. House looks a bit like the time (80s brown tiles). Hardly any vegetarian things, service and value for money is good.

Addendum: Also recommended in Corona times, it is possible to keep your distance in the very spacious dining room, and even the reduced menu still offers enough choice (otherwise ask). World's best fried potatoes, the dishes are down-to-earth and all very tasty (higher proportion of regional products), very nice service. Our families have been enthusiastic guests since the 1970s!

Always good for a "normal" dinner like with mothers - tasty, plentiful and with no ski-Micki. That's how I imagine a good village inn.

The staff is always friendly and courteous. The prices are fair and the food is always of good quality and tastes good.

Nice to look at from the outside, it seems to be enough for the locals, but for us in transit, very thin. Nothing has been renewed since Jajren, the menu is reminiscent of a local evening meal, leftovers, what's left. Stulle and fried potatoes ... it tastes good, you get full, but no recommendation to come back again. Price performance ratio is fine. Friendliness and speed as well .. there is nothing to complain about ..

I know this restaurant even from teenage years. So felt 1,000 years ... 😉 It has not changed in all these years nothing. It is nice and friendly service and the food here is still excellent. Real good home cooking at good, that is reasonable Peisen. The sour meat is just as recommended as roast beef or country breakfast. A fresh draft beer. Simple, tasty and delicious.

I had the pickled herrings that were delicious like mom. Also the fried potatoes were tasty to the point ... The nice lady in the service has completed the whole experience ... Thanks for that... Good price for money. Had a large cozy room, quiet and with a decor of old charm. For breakfast which was sufficient and good, gabs then also a beer and a champagne instead of a glass of juice, very nice: D

Very cozy inn and good food. I had the farmer's breakfast with bacon and that was plenty. The only downside is that the bacon on top was raw and not seared. If it had been on the menu, I would have preferred to have ordered the farm breakfast without bacon.

A real "oldschool" country inn with everything that goes with it ... Unfortunately booking with online media is something, let's say so difficult ... would have liked to have been there a second time, unfortunately, everything was fully booked.
